Sorry I haven't written this past week or so. Its been a real shithole of a week. If you have been calling me...sorry. There has been an issue with the phone. I've also had some issues with my new email address, also, we haven't had money to get a phone card due to the fact that neither of us are working at the moment and of the small amount of money I had left in the bank, a portion of it was stolen when I lost my bank card cause i'm very dumb :p (Don't ask me how they knew my pin, I don't know).

My guess is that the money is lost to some other factor. If a nefarious character had your pin and card, he would have taken the maximum withdrawl allowed. Canadian banks refund losses that occur within 24 hours prior to you reporting your card stolen. Do you still deal with a Canadian Bank? Credit unions don't have to respect that rule.
