In response to your comment, Chris. Unfortunately, some nefarious character did indeed take my moolah. When I called to report my card missing, they said that someone had withdrawn money from an ATM just like an hour before that. They have launched an investigation and they tell me that I -should- get my money back, but it may be a while.
