Conversations With Paul

Him - I used to have two little mice, they were so cute! And then one day there was only one in the cage and I thought that one had escaped. But then, I found...remnants. *deep sigh* He ate his friend.

Me - Oh man, that's horrifying. Did you not give them enough food?

Him - He had a big pile of seeds!

Me - Maybe he got tired of seeds. I would get tired of seeds. Maybe he wanted some meat.

Him - I understand wanting some meat, (said VERY sincerely) but I would rather have a pile of seeds and a friend!

That's the wonderfully sensitive side of Paul! That's the part of him that endears me the most to him -- his sensitivity. Much love to both of you this Christmas season -- Dad, Randy, Lucine (and Jonas) and myself wish you both a very Merry Christmas! Love to Smeagol, too! Mom2

I agree, Paul's sensitivity is a huge part of what makes me love him so dearly. He amazes me every day with his sweetness. Mom2, you did a very, very good job.
