Garbage Run
Well, the stuff that we found from somebody's eviction did not work out as well as we had hoped...the dryer does not work at all. So we now have 2 non functioning dryers in the living room. If you know me at all, you know how incredibly irritating I find this. Also, the couch is very lovely and clean and everything, but its a feather couch! Who ever heard of a feather couch?! I am desperately allergic to feathers, not to mention that they are constantly poking out into my thighs. So, I need to get rid of it. I live in a state of constant itchiness and allergic misery anyway, this is NOT helping. But, the guys are strongly resistant since we really need this couch. I can't blame them, but still...I'm not sure quite what to do about the situation.

Sorry to hear about your bum dryers. Would you like a bum hot water heater to add to the collection? I've got one for ya, real cheap. More info on my site, and since I'm at the radio station now, I dont have the link right off hand.
Maybe you could get some nice, thick, heavy towels and piece them together (sewing-wise, that is), and make throw covers to put on the feather couch, instead of spending some big bucks on Target's throws that run about a hundred bucks! That might help the poking out of the feathers. I sympathize 'cuz Frank has a feather jacket that's always shedding and I'm forever pulling feathers out of open coffee mugs, pretzels containers and the like. Yeah, I know, put a lid on it and the feathers won't fly in -- or, like Frank says, save the feathers for flossing your teeth later. Is he 63 going on 64 or 12 going on 13? Mom2
Glad to hear that you were blessed with a new water heater (as per your blog), must be a major relief!
