Allriighty!

We got the official "Department Of Homeland Security' receipt for our immigration paperwork. I now have an account number and stuff so that I can check updates online and so forth. I also got access to the part of the website that tells you from what date they are currently processing at my service centre. So, they received our paperwork on April 25th and they are currently working on February 6th. That's not too bad. (Assuming that we get accepted *cross fingers etc* )Let's say it takes 4 months even (one more than expected), that would put us at the end of August. Then let's say that it takes 2 more months to get an appointment at the US Consulate in Calgary, that would make it end of October. Then, let's say one more month to actually get the fiancee visa. That would be the end of November giving us from then til the end of February to get married...maybe a Christmastime wedding or a Valentine's Day one? I do so like winter weddings...I see lots of dark red velvet, dark spaces lit by candles, pictures of us taken in the snow with me in a white dress and tons of red roses...okay, I'm getting carried away, but I'm really excited :)

Congrat's on your news! That's wonderful that you'll at least have an idea about when things will happen. I'll root for a Christmas wedding! So romantic!

I think so too! Although, when I saw your comment i started thinking about it more and I realized that maybe i wouldn't want to combine Christmas and Anniversary. I always feel so sorry for matt and Andra cause their birthdays are right around Christmas so they always get gypped. I want my Anniversary to be really special so maybe combining it around V Day would be better as that's already a special couply day. That being said, we prolly won't have much choice, but that's fine. I'll marry him on Halloween if I have to :)
