*crickets*
I have purchased a notebook. It is a tiny coil bound one and it has a giant pug face on the front. In it, I record notes about things that I want to post on this blog. Currently, it has cryptic notes like 'waffles/pants' and 'makeover/shorter than'. It makes me feel like 'a writer'. I would expand on one of these topics but my 'ladies days' (I got that euphemism from Everybody Loves Raymond and that way you don't all have to hear the actual words for my current condition) are kicking my ass, so I'm just gonna crawl back to the couch and think about giant milk chocolates filled with a combination of hazelnuts and vicodin.

When you said you purchased a notebook, I totally thought "new laptop", and when the next line said "coil bound with a pug on the front", I was thinking, "Whoa! New version or something? Is it a Dell?". It took me another minute to get PAPER.
How stuck on technology am I?
I also briefly thought laptop, hee hee. Sorry your 'ladies days' are so miserable. Hang in there, at least it only lasts a few days.
I know you well enough to know immediately the notebook you meant ;) I still have mine. It contains my list of Top 10 Simpsons episodes, about which I intend to blog someday.
You lost me somewhere in the heading of "*crickets*"...I'm of the age where a notebook was and still is paper; a laptop is a laptop unless you're a lap dancer, in which case it's a venue to dance on. Anyway, what has crickets got to do with that blog entry? Mom2
