And The Cake Turned Out GREAT!

So, in trying to make this blog a success I am taking into account the things I love and the things I hate in other people's blogs. The thing I like most is people who update very regularly. I am well aware that some people are very busy and simply don't have time to post a lot. My feelings on that are, tough shit! I wanna see your next post! POST! Seriously, I do understand, but I have quite a lot of time right now so I'm trying to make sure I post as often as I can.

I also love blogs that tell me a lot about the person because really that is why I'm generally reading that blog. For example, Dooce.com. I have mixed feelings about Ms. Armstrong (not the least of which is fierce jealousy because she gets 40 000 hits and day and at my worst I rant about how its only because she's utterly gorgeous and about 7 feet tall), but say what you will, she makes me want to know what's going to happen next. Heather, Jon, Leta and Chuck are all so real to me that they are almost like my friends (which I'm sure is very creepy). My point is, I like that. I read dooce because I want to know what the Armstrongs are going to do next. So, I tell you about my life, such as it is, whenever I feel that I can make the anecdote even vaguely interesting.

Anyway, my point for today is that I really want to update but I have nothing to say :p Today I cleaned the house, answered some emails, made a vet appointment for Smeagol and went grocery shopping. I cannot dig anything interesting out of that, so instead you get this ramble about what I like and dislike in blogs.
