---I get the feeling that there was something really important that I was supposed to do today but I can't remember what it was, so I'm going to lie on the couch and read a magazine instead.
---Even the commercial for that new movie 'Pulse' scares the CRAP out of me.
---I lost five pounds while my family was here so I feel that they should come visit 12 more times.
---I had a dream recently in which I was absolutely convinced that the new name for my blog should be 'Spiral Bound'.
---I recently heard how the emotion anger is really almost always either hurt, fear or frustration manifesting itself. I can't stop thinking about that because I am a very angry person and I'm trying really hard to think of which of those emotions I'm actually channeling.
---My fiance can name all four of the Golden Girls AND tested me by asking what the name of the Golden Girls' neighbours' dog was. Can your man name all four Golden Girls? Would you want him to? Do you remember the neighbours' dog's name?
---Paul and I were recently approached at Walmart by a woman who asked us, quietly and with eyes darting around, if we wanted to buy a ham. She was quite aggressive. I backed off and let Paul handle it assuming that 'ham' was code for drugs. Apparently it isn't. She really wanted us to buy a ham. I guess if you need to unload some hams, approaching two fat people in the Walmart grocery section is your best bet.
---You know how much I hate feet, right? Well, I love Paul so much that the other day he thrust one bare foot right in my face and screeched 'DIAGNOSE MY FOOT LUMP!!' And I still love him. Although slightly less.

Is the name of the Golden Girls' neighbour's dog Dreyfuss (or however it's spelled)? I seriously hope it isn't, because if it is, I just died a little inside.
IT IS!! You rock! Kind of!
No comment on the golden girls stuff...what was the diagnosis of the foot lump? that's funny.
I'm so glad you had so much fun with your family.
Wasn't the Golden Girls' neighbor the guy from Empty Nest? His dog's name was Dreyfuss :) I seem to remember those two shows being linked, kind of. I might be way off though.
Also, I would have thought that ham was code for drugs in that situation, too. You should have loudly said to her "No, strange lady, we don't want your drugs!"
AND I love 'Spiral Bound' as a blog name (for what it's worth).
*HUGS*
You guys are right on the money about Dreyfuss and Empty Nest etc.
And Angie, "No, Strange Lady, we don't want your drugs!" made me laugh so hard that I actually slapped my knees. I SO wish that we would have said that.
And Ganya...sadly, I think Paul's foot lump may be a W word. We don't say that word in this house because it makes me feel sick. Nothing further shall be said!
Ack! You had left no updates for a while so I stopped obsessively checking twice a day.. only to find that I've missed out on a weekend's worth of tomfoolery and funny comments sections. -I- knew that Dreyfuss was from Empty Nest but now it's too late and I just look like I'm faking knowledge about Empty Nest. I also love 'Spiral Bound' for a blog name, yours especially, since you are rarely far from your wee notebook. Also, I love spirals and I find them symbolically significant. I'm glad you had so much fun with your family - I love the aquarium pictures.
I'm so glad I made you laugh to the point of slapping yourself around a bit :) I do aim to please.
And I puzzled and puzzled over what in the world the 'W word' could be. I was just about to write and beg you to tell me cause it was driving me mad when suddenly the light bulb went on and I figured it out. I'm so smrt!
