Project #1 - Wedding Planning
Virtually finished, still have to get my ring sized, try on both of our outfits to make sure everything is copacetic, get Paul's hair cut, get the oil changed in our car for the trip, get an appropriate pen for the guestbook frame and find someone to take care of Smeagol (our old roommate Josh is going to take Waffles).
Project #2 - Immigration Forms/Appointment
Finished, well on hold - I know what I have to do, but cannot do any of it until we're married so I'm trying to put it out of my mind for now.
Project #3 - Credit Reports
Finished. Well, okay, I stopped, I can't say as I really finished. I took care of, in one way or another, 8 accounts, which is thrilling. There are several still that I don't know what to do about, but at this point I'm going to wait until I can get them free again and then see what has changed and what still needs to be taken care of.
Project #4 - Very thorough Spring Cleaning
Approaching finished. I still have to clean the bathroom, clean the sunroom (good luck on that one as its where we keep The Stuff), sweep and mop the floors and geez, I think that's it. I did the baseboards earlier today and I cannot tell you how much I hate baseboards. Why would they create them with like 5 ridges?! You know what lives in ridges? Crud! Even more horrifying was my discovery, as I crawled around the perimeter of the apartment, that if I ran the wet paper towel around the crack between the baseboards and the carpet I get up enough hair to create a third dog. (One might argue that I also discovered that my obsessive compulsiveness is worse than I thought, but that is another story.)
Project #5 - Training Waffles
Waffles is doing pretty well. He sleeps quite well at night and doesn't whine as much during the night or when we lock him up when we have to leave the house. He is becoming leash trained, although that is a slow job, he is just too hyper and happy to walk in straight lines. The potty training is still not going fantasticly, but we are getting better at dealing with his issues. His little ears, by the way, are hilarious. When he came to us they were both flopped over and we knew that eventually they would stand up. Some time while we slept on Friday night one of them popped up and he looks totally adorable with one giant stand-up ear and one flopped over one.
Project #6 - Selling The Stuff on eBay.
Haven't started.
Project #7 - Purchasing renter's insurance.
Finished.
Project #8 - Research project for Paul.
Essentially finished, it is up to him to do the work now.
Project #9 - Transferring blog and adding pictures.
Not really started.
Project #10 - Find doctor and fill out insurance forms.
We can't really do anything about this til after the wedding. But the forms are basically filled out and I have several possible doctors to call when the time comes.
So, about half done, not bad, I figure.
Nine days until the wedding!
