I did some redecorating today. You may be familiar with my school of decorating, its called 'acquiring and changing stuff without technically spending any money'. So, with our Target gift card from my sister, I got sheets, a mattress cover and pillowcases. The pillowcases are on back order but I put the mattress cover and sheets on today. They are SO luxurious feeling! My most fervent hope is that we will not wake up every morning now with the bottom sheet, the FITTED sheet, rumpled up around our waists.
Then, I made this here display. On our gorgeous dresser, which we got as a trade from Josh for some of the jewelry that Paul makes, I arranged; two tan and red teddy bears that Paul bought me as a Christmas gift, a red candle that I got from my mom-in-law as a Christmas gift, my wedding bouquet in a vase that we got from Josh and Gibby as a wedding present. Hanging on the wall is the picture frame guest book that I have referred to several times. So far, there is still the display picture in it because we don't have our wedding pictures yet (okay, I admit that we did, technically, pay for the flowers and the frame, but since they were part of wedding expenses they don't count) Ta-da! It looks really great in person. *pleased*
