I'm struggling to think of something to post...
Paul is away this weekend at his LARP. He's been SO looking forward to it so I'm psyched that he's out in the woods somewhere being all incommunicado and nerdy and covered in makeup and chain mail. Its not ideally thrilling for me though, simply because I have nobody to talk to here in Atlanta except him and when he's gone, well, its a little boring and lonely.
Still working on the immigration papers. I'm almost done except I've encountered an unexpected snag which I don't know how to fix. It involves stuff that I know nothing about and it has to be done F-A-S-T so I'm a bit panicked.
Thank you cards are done and I shall pop them in the mail tomorrow (one month to the day after the wedding, thank you).
Ah! To soothe my troubled soul I have been watching TV and movies all day that make me feel good (while getting a lot accomplished; thank you cards, clean fridge, all laundry [including sheets TWICE since dimwit #2 peed on the fresh clean ones], dust etc.) and right now is the scene in a Knight's Tale where they dance to Golden Years. Oh, Heath Ledger as a knight, a dancing knight, dancing to David Bowie...who could ask for a better scene?
I've selected all my wedding photos but have not ordered them yet as they, you know, cost money.
Paul and I are addicted to Corner Gas and you Canadians should appreciate what you have and watch it every week and you non-Canadians should go here and order it and love it. LOVE IT! I think it is helping Paul to understand some of my idioms and things and it makes me feel smart.
