Jiggety-Jig

We are home and successfully married.

We had an unbelievable trip. The chapel in Pigeon Forge was to-die-for cute. Our hotels were all great. We had a wonderful time with our families. I got to gamble for the first time. Everything was nearly perfect. The only major issue that we had was that I got what we think was food poisoning on Monday afternoon from the casino buffet. So Monday from about 3 pm on was kind of a bust. Paul was still able to go gamble and hang out with his folks while I puked my guts out in the hotel room. He was very nice about it and only went out to have fun after I swore to him that I didn't need him in the room.

The trip home yesterday was a bit poor since Tunica, Mississippi to Atlanta, Georgia in a car with a girl with food poisioning is not the most fun thing in the world. But Paul drove fast and we made it in seven hours. The puppies were VERY happy to see us and are being very cute. Unfortunately, Waffles grew so tall while we were gone that he can now get on the bed which was Smeagol's only safe haven away from him. But we let him stay up there last night and he behaved very well (obviously not so stupid that he didn't realize that if he misbehaved he would have to go back to the floor) although Smeagol was quite irritated and walked around us snorting until Paul yelled at her.

I took a lot of pictures (at least until the food poisoning hit) which I shall post when I feel 100% better and I'll also share more details about the wedding and the rest of our trip then too.

Thanks for all your well wishes, folks :)

Welcome home and congrats again! Now you have joined the institution that is both wonderful and scary! Good luck and get well soon! Food poisoning is NO FUN but a great short-term weight-loss plan!

When I had food poisioning, I turned purple. Did you turn purple? It's kind of neat to be purple...but not really that neat.

I DID turn purple briefly yesterday. I was also, I believe, on fire for a short time (well, okay, it felt like it).
