They don't pay me, I just really like them!

Okay, I've mentioned this before...but how's this for a deal? If you want Vonage phone service (and you live in the US) you should get it. Its under $32 -total- every month and that includes every phone service you could possibly want and free unlimited calls throughout the US, Canada and parts of Europe. Anyway, right now, if I send you an invitation, then we each get a month of service free and we each get a $50 American Express gift card. I do, frankly, want that gift card but I'm honestly telling you this cause you should save money and get Vonage. I'm just sayin'.

Between giving out a two month's service and $100 in gift cards for every new customer, and the lawsuit fun with Verizon, it amazes me that Vonage manages to make enough money to stay in business. :)

I know! I'm just glad for every month that they do.

I had Vonage back in NYC and loved it. I looked into getting here in Montana and they can't give you a Montana area code (there's only ONE). So, we opted out since so many people here pay for long distance and were bitching about our previous "long distance" cellphone. (Don't buy a Tracfone! They suck!)

We both have Verizon cellphones now and I have to admit, though a tiny bit more than I'd want to spend, I like them a lot. Unfortunately, we don't really need the landline. (Internet is through cable and only $29!).

We have the problem of only being able to get cable through Comcast-the-soul-sucking-beasts. So, if we have to get cable through them, we may as well get internet through them as well. And, its WAAAY cheaper to get Vonage for me than to get a cell phone and I don't need a cell phone because, well, I don't leave the house.
