Every blog that I read these days uses the phrase' pink puffy hearts', as in 'I pink puffy hearts our new sheets' or what have you. I find this both irritating and excruciatingly cute and as such:

So, yeah, two days before Paul lost his job we went to Big Lots (LOVE the Big Lots) to seek out a cheap, but new couch because ours is violently grotesque and painfully uncomfortable and, AND, I've never had a brand new couch and I'm almost 35. Fortunately they did not have the Chickasaw Tan Sofa, but they did have the Chickasaw Tan Chair and a Half so we discovered our love for it. Well, I discovered my love for it and Paul discovered his love for the fact that it cost $325. Anyway, then two days later our money situation drastically changed and it was a good thing that we didn't get it. But, one day! And seriously, isn't that a GORGEOUS couch for $325?
And, don't even get me started on the Chickasaw Tan Storage Ottoman! *weep*

Maybe it's time to find some different blogs to read.
We really need a new couch, too. And new chairs. And, um, new everything. Maybe when the baby graduates we'll go shopping.
I still think we should just get rid of the couch and use our futon. But that's probably because of where I work!
I've never seen 'pink puffy hearts' before. I'm obviously not reading the right blogs. But then, I just read the same 7 or 8 over and over.
We are in desperate need of a couch too. We're still using the air bed as a makeshift one. Even with the wonderful blue comforter and 10,000 pillows piled on, it's still a f*#kin airbed in the end.
I've never been a big fan of BigLots. They always seemed kinda icky to me (like the Dollar stores), but that is a great price!
I love Big Lots. In fact, I have furniture from the Big Lots Furniture store up here. Name brands, too---you just gotta look it over very carefully.

I know what you mean about BigLots, J. I very quickly stopped buying any food there, or other semi-perishable things (like baby wipes that were bone dry etc). But there are still lots of things that are great there and they are so crazy cheap.
Laz, YAY a letter! I hope its all full of gossip and such. I got a 3 page, typed letter a few weeks ago from my friend Barb and it was so great to hear from home, I read it like 4 times. Thanks, I hope I get it soon too :)
