Criminy. We're moving in 40 hours and I'm like 1/3 packed and I'm out of boxes and Paul's at work. I have a U-Haul scheduled, I have the utilities transferred and I have a plan, though, so that helps. Paul has one friend who has promised to help (and a few more who may or may not show up) and he and Paul should do the bulk of the moving while I haul the dogs over to the new place, open doors for people and wait for the utility hook-up people. But in the meantime its all on me to get this place packed up and, I reiterate, I'm OUT OF BOXES AND HAVE NO WAY TO GET MORE BECAUSE I CAN NEVER, EVER LEAVE THIS APARTMENT! Crap.

Silly me, I thought your new apartment was in the same BUILDING! Obviously not if you need a Uhaul. Now I really wish I was there to help.

I thought maybe it was just in a different building, but was confused on the whole having to move on Wednesday - after all, if it's the same complex, they should let you take at least a few days or a week to gradually shift your stuff over, so you could keep reusing boxes.
Sorry! Sheep is correct...same complex but different building. We are essentially moving down the street about an 1/8 of a mile.
We can't really take days to do it though because A) we rented a U-Haul for one day only (expensive enough for one day!) B) We don't want to be in here any longer than need be as we are just getting sicker.
