Ow, my heart!

I've been obsessed with watching Animal Planet and I'm just watching Animal Cops Detroit. They just found a mom rottweiler with 3 little rottie puppies. I could just DIE from the cute!!!! The mom was all panicking cause 6 had already died and she was all confused. But now she has been reunited in the warm humane society with her three remaining pups and the mom dog right away curled up in a little comma and pushed her 3 puppies into the concave part of the comma. Not to nurse, just to protect. Animals rock. Watching AP lately, I'm constantly amazed at how person-like they are, not in the bad ways, but the good. They take care of their babies and some of them hug each other and the babies play. I don't think anything is worse than people who hurt or abuse animals. Even Smeagol, she's so attentive to my moods. Whenever I'm having an angry or sad moment, she always nuzzles at me and tries to cuddle. She will press her face against me and I can just tell that she's saying 'don't be sad, mama, I'm right here, what more could you need?"
