Okay, so I'm making this really complex, time consuming cake. I have to make two cakes and a custard style filling and a 'seven minute' frosting. The cake and custard are cooling and the water in the double boiler for the frosting is on the stove. While I wait for the water to boil, I figured that I would post briefly.
When I mentioned that I had dreamt that I named this blog "Spiral Bound" I was just relaying whatI had dreamed, but I thought that the name was ludicrous and that it was hysterical that my dreaming mind had thought of it. But then Angie, and later, Andrea mentioned that they liked the name and I began to ponder the idea. In many ways it does fit my criteria. For example, I wanted something that in no way indicated what the topic of the blog was. "Spiral Bound" suggests nothing ( I don't think) as a blog name, and yet the title is very evocative to me, personally. As Andra mentioned, I am never far from my 'wee notebook' which is invariably a spiral bound one. The title seems to be good for someone like me who is
hyperorganized. Spirals are also very powerful symbols and would lend themselves to lovely designs when I am capable of designing stuff.
As such, even though I love "Inexplicably", I believe that I shall give "Spiral Bound" a try. I swear, this will almost certainly be the last name change!
Thoughts?

There's a slight BDSM theme to anything with "bound" in the title.
. . . . you can trust me to pick up on that.
I really really loved Inexplicably, but now I'm falling in love with Spiral Bound. I even like the way the words look. And Steve...I had so not thought of that, but it adds even a litle more fuel to the fire of how much I like this new name.
I like it as well, even tho I loved inexplicably, too.
And that cake sounds too complicated. Anything more fancy than, open frosting, add to cake, is too much for me! hahahaha.
