Phase Two

So, we just got a letter in the mail from the visa people. They have sent our petition along to the consulate in Canada. Within the next couple of weeks, we should hear from the consulate with regards to when the appointment will be and what documents are required. This is good :)

Unfortunately, they will send the package to my address in Canada, so it will be my parents who get it for now. And they are...lovely people! who...are not so good at this kind of thing. The other unfortunate is that apparently I have to go to Vancouver for the visa hearing. For those of you who do not know the geography of Canada, that is on the Pacific coast. I am currently near the Atlantic coast of the US. That is a long way away, I don't mind the travel, but I do sincerely mind the cost. I am also quite concerned that when I do get the info that tells me what I need and when my appointment is, I won't have enough time to get the documents together. These are my current concerns.

BUT! I am still very excited that things are moving along. I am growing more and more fond of this Paul dude and think that marrying him might be an awful good idea ;)

In other news, Paul got a VERY excited call from his friend Joey today. Remember how Paul likes monkeys? Joey found an ad for a free monkey. Now Paul wants to get a monkey. Pray for Mojo.
