I lost my favorite pair in my last move, and despite buying about a half dozen pairs since then...none have even come close. My eyebrows have never been the same. *sigh*
Cripes, I bet I had that pair for six years, and Boy used it ONCE to pull ten layers of skin off his hand trying to get a splinter, and *poof* it vanished.
So, three useless ones later, I found a spiffy black pair that work.
See, I'm so glad that you all understood the horror! And its also good to know that some of you also sometimes buy new tweezers and they just don't work. I did eventually find my third string back up pair but I will have to buy a new one, sadly.
Yeah, I've got three pairs right now, and they're all pretty so-so. Takes me three times as long and I always end up pinching my skin. I never did find my original cool ones again (they used to sell them at Walgreen's, but now they're gone *sob*).

That is beyond tragic :(
Boy lost my VERY FAVORITE PAIR at some point.
I was pissed. Good tweezers are expensive.

We are talking about the same things you use to remove splinters and pull off ticks, right? You can have a favorite pair of those?!?
I'll never understand women.
When your eyebrows, if left untweezed, grow into a giant uni-brow caterpillar from hell,...
You get to liking a good pair of tweezers.
And half the ones you buy DON'T EVEN WORK.

I'm with ram sheep on this one. I have various pairs of tweezers, but I don't use them for plucking, in fact I rarely use them at all. Huh.
