Okay, I'm lots better. I'm not sure exactly why I have been so depressed over the last couple of weeks, but I feel so much better now. I'm not going to go into the details of the bad stuff or how/why I got better, but suffice it to say, I am a lot happier now :) Again, I'm sorry about the melodrama. I swear to you that I don't realize how dramatic I am being when I do it. Its only afterwards that I look back at things that I say or write or whatever in my little world and discover that I'm a raving loon! Thanks SO much for you comments and emails. It means the world to me.
I have also been cleaning a lot. This is due, primarily to the fact that we have a new roommate. Keef has not officially moved out yet in that 90% of his stuff is still here, but he has not slept here in weeks and I made him give me his key the other day. So, now our friend Josh has moved in. Josh will actually, wonder of wonders, pay rent!!! Go figure!! He is also very clean and very mellow. This is all pretty much the exact opposite of the old roommate. Ultimately, I wouldn't mind living alone with Paul. But Josh is the best roommate that we could possibly ask for, and we really need the money. So, we're actually enjoying having him around. He has been inspiring me to clean by buying cleaning supplies. And we also borrowed his fiancee's vacuum which is one of the 7 jillion dollar HEPA filter ones. The carpet feels SO good under my bare feet. Paul looked at the dirt cup when I had finished the living room and remarked that there was a whole puppy in there. Ick. Josh also bought some of them Mr Clean Magic Erasers. Holy Shoot!! They are great. They really do erase everything! And I really am a housewife! Josh also seems to lower Paul's stress level a lot, I'm not sure totally why, but who cares, a happy Paul means a happy me.
Okay, so that's it for today, except for a few personal notes:
Reba, I never did get the lengthy comment that you said you posted. I guess Blogger ate it up. But I do thank you for it and for your email, I did get that and took note of the better email address. Also, I was psyched to see that you had put up the 'about' section of your blog (http://www.ginandsoda.net/index.html). I have been checking for that every day when I check out your recipes. Now I finally know what you look like!! Also, I KNOW about the fabulous Southern cooking!!! We went for barbecue for the first time a few weeks ago. I had a quarter chicken and mac and cheese. It was heaven.
Jason, Thank you too for your emails/comments. I had no idea that you still read this. And you are right about striving for balance. I don't mind at all that you lurk :) But I do think you are crazy for saying that you would post more if you were wittier. You are the first person that ever made me laugh out loud, I think. I think of you often in that leather jacket, walking into the bookstore and making some clever comment. You made my Wednesday evenings ;) I hope you got the Christmas card I sent you. *smooch*
Mom2, I love you and thank you for all the support that you give Paul and I, in every way. Paul pretty much worships you. When we are puzzled or worried about something, he always reaches for the phone and says ' I'm gonna call Cah-nee'. He seems to think that you have the answer to all questions...maybe you do... I feel very blessed to have you and your family as my inlaws. My family loves me but makes it clear sometimes that they don't like or respect me. But I believe that you really do like me and that means the world to me.
Ganya, thanks for your comments too! I have added you to my list of blogs that I read every day (http://spaces.msn.com/members/beachgalshideaway/). I tried to comment on your Harry Potter post but I had to sign up for something so I didn't bother :p But, I totally had the same experience with those books. I resisted and resisted and then fell in love with them.
Andra and Chris, I thank you too for your emails and I will call you as soon as I can, things have been NUTSY here. I love you guys and miss you so much.
And finally, to Andra and everyone else who read that link I posted about Atypical Depression, THANK YOU!!! It is incredibly meaningful to me.

Hey Jenn, so glad to hear you are feeling better. I think you have to have might have to sign up for msn something or other to leave a comment, but I had no clue about that before. You could always email me! i'll put the work address in my link/name thingie. Since you enjoy cleaning so much, would you please come clean my house? it's a wreck.
okay, that didn't work. i'd rather not post my work address here. i don't know your address to email you get mine. umm...as far as commenting, maybe you just have to sign up for a msn account. ask andrea, she has my work email!
Jenn: Thanks for the kudos. Remember, you, too, always have a caring ear on the other end of the phone line (besides Paul calling Cah-nee)! Family is support; and my best support is my sister Mary (aside from the usual group here in the home with us every day!). She and I bounce things off of each other all the time, and her love for both of my boys is true and unwaivering, no matter what they do, she supports them. Also, if you could, let Paul know that Angie is getting engaged on Valentine's Day; Frank is doing her ring for her fiance, double dolphins with a diamond in the middle; Ryan's wife, Sara, is preggers and due Aug 3; and we hope to get to the south for a visit over the next few months. Love, Mom2
